1948 Born in Kyoto
1966 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Momoyama High School

1968 Aspired to make pottery and received guidance from Tadashi Shimizu

1971 Graduated from Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Training School. Became an instructor (Kyoto Prefectural Engineer) at the same school and started researching Tenmoku at Gojozaka Joint Climbing Kiln “Kane Casting Kiln”

1972 Selected for the 2nd Japan Kogei Association Kinki Branch Exhibition for the first time. Selected for the 20th Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition for the first time

1976 Recommended as a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association

1977 Retired from the Kyoto Prefectural Pottery Training School as an instructor and devoted himself to making pottery.
