TOHGORO works with ceramic artists and kilns in Kyoto and other regions of Japan to create custom-made ceramics for individuals, businesses, hotels, restaurants, and special projects.

From a single special piece to larger-scale orders, we listen carefully to your ideas and work with suitable artists and makers to explore what can be created.

Custom-made Ceramics

We accept inquiries for specially commissioned pieces, including tableware, tea ware, decorative works, commemorative items, and gifts.

Depending on your requirements, we can discuss the shape, size, decoration, color, quantity, budget, and intended use, and propose an appropriate artist or kiln.

Hotels & Restaurants

We can develop original tableware for hotels, restaurants, cafés, and other hospitality businesses.

We can assist with both small and large orders, from selecting existing designs to developing original shapes, colors, and decorations suited to your concept and cuisine.

Corporate & Commemorative Gifts

We also produce ceramics for corporate gifts, anniversaries, commemorative events, and other special occasions.

Original designs, inscriptions, logos, packaging, and presentation options may be available depending on the project.

Product Development & OEM

TOHGORO can work with businesses and designers on original product development and OEM projects.

Drawing on our network of ceramic artists and kilns, we help coordinate the process from initial concept and prototyping through production and delivery.

Please note that handmade ceramics require sufficient time for design, prototyping, production, drying, glazing, and firing. Production times vary depending on the project.
